DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us for an exciting and highly competitive tournament this June! \n\n\n\nELIGIBILITY: Male players must have a UTR of at least 11.5 and be outside the top 200 PTT ranking. Women must have a minimum UTR of 8.5 and be outside the top 200 PTT ranking.\n\n\n\nFORMAT – 20 DRAW: The 20 person main draw will consist of 4 groups of 5 players each. The round-robin group stages will run from Monday to Friday. All matches will be best of 3 tie-break sets with regular scoring. The Main Draw will consist of 16 Direct Acceptances and 4 Wild Cards. To apply for a Wild Card – please complete the WC Application Form The Playoff Rounds will be single elimination and consist of five draws of 4 players depending on the player’s group finishing (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th) and will run from Saturday to Sunday. All matches will be best of 3 tie-break sets with regular scoring. For more information, please refer to the attached documents titled Rules and Regulations and Tournament Format(s) and Fact Sheet.\n\n\n\nPRIZE MONEY & TOUR CARD POINT DISTRIBUTION 20 DRAW (USD $): Winner: $3,600 Finalist: $2,075 Semifinalist: $1,225 5th place: $1,225 6th place: $1,050 7th & 8th place: $950 9th place: $950 10th place: $850 11th & 12th place: $750 13th place: $750 14th place: $650 15th & 16th place: $575 17th place: $575 18th place: $475 19th & 20th place: $400 *For more information on the tour card, please refer to the attachment **Players who withdraw or retire are subject to prize money deductions. Full prize money breakdown can be found in the rules and regulations. TOURNAMENT \n\n\n\nREGISTRATION & SELECTION: UTR Pro Tennis Tour will have minimum ranking requirements for entry based on UTR PTT rankings. All Wild Cards must be approved by UTR. Players ranked 1-200 will only be accepted with a wild card approved by UTR.\n\n\n\nWITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY: The Registration Deadline is at 2:00 pm American Eastern Standard Time (19:00 GMT) on Monday fourteen (14) days prior to the Monday of the Tournament Week unless otherwise noted. The Freeze Deadline is at 2:00 pm American Eastern Standard Time (19:00 GMT) on Thursday four (4) days prior to the Monday of the Tournament Week. All entries and withdrawals PRIOR to the registration deadline must be submitted online through the player’s account. Withdrawals AFTER the registration deadline must be made via email to ptt@utrsports.com ( mailto:ptt@utrsports.com ) Prior to the freeze deadline, in a given calendar year, accepted players have two (2) withdrawals for verified medical reasons with an approved doctor’s note, players are also allowed one (1) for any reason. Please note these do not cover playing another event. Additionally, the following fines will be administered in applicable circumstances when players have used their allotted withdrawals above or are found in breach of the rules and regulations. – Late Withdrawals Prior to Freeze Deadline- $500 and potential one month suspension from all UTR events – Late Withdrawals After Freeze Deadline- $750 and potential one month suspension from all UTR events – No Show- $1,000 and two month suspension from all UTR events – Playing another event- $1,000 and two month suspension from all UTR events During an event, a player may not withdraw, no show, or retire from a match and then go on to play in any subsequent matches in the same tournament. \n\n\n\nSCORING FORMAT: All matches will be best of 3 tie break sets with regular scoring. In the case of ties, tiebreakers will be automatically sorted based on: 1. Greatest Number of Wins 2. Greatest Number of Matches Played 3. Head to Head result if only two players are tied 4. % of sets won 5. % of games won 6. Overall Current UTR 7.
