Block Bookings

A block booking is a 2-hour, four-person, court booking that occurs over consecutive weeks at the same time and day of the week throughout a season.

Fees

Fall and Winter block bookings are made up of approximately 15 sessions/weeks while Spring and Summer average 8 sessions. These numbers can change depending on the number of holidays, tournaments, or other interruptions that fall within the block booking.

Indoor Pricing (Fall, Winter, Spring) Member $16 +GST per session Non-member $30 +GST per session

Summer Pricing Member $6 +GST per session Non-member $16 +GST per session

Registered Players

Block booking participants must be registered in Aforza's online booking system, Court Reserve. To register on Court Reserve, click "Create Account" and follow the instructions. Creating a profile gives players access to schedules, substitute players, and transaction history. Don't have a Court Reserve Profile? Get one today.

Booking

  • Available to members and non-members
  • Fall, Winter, and Spring availability: Mon - Fri 9-11am, 11-1pm, 1-3pm and Sat - Sun 8-10am, 10-12pm, 4-6pm, 6-8pm and 8-10pm
  • Summer availability: Mon - Fri 6-8pm and Sat - Sun 10-12pm, 12-2pm, & 2-4pm
  • A Block Booking Lead is the person who initiates the block booking request; it is the Lead’s responsibility to ensure that each session of a block booking is filled with 4 participants
  • Block booking participants can now easily register and pay for their select days within a season on Court Reserve
  • During the indoor season weekday evening and weekend afternoon block bookings are not available between 3 - 11pm Mon - Fri or from 12 -4pm on weekends, due to high court demand
  • Questions about Block booking requests and renewals can be sent to doug@aforza.ca. Once a Block Booking Request Form has been filled out, if the requested day and time is available, Doug will provide a link to register for that session on Court Reserve
  • Once each of the sessions within a block booking are filled with the required four players, the booking will be confirmed and a court will be assigned
  • Block bookings do not auto renew, each season is treated as a new session
  • All players must check in at the Aforza Front Desk before they enter the courts
  • New balls are provided at the start of each booking, used balls must be returned to the Front Desk
  • We reserve the right to move court bookings
  • Space is limited
  • Participants of block bookings have early access to the next season. Block bookings open to the public two months prior to the first session

Substitution Policy

A member is substituting for a member: The sub pays a member block booking fee and a credit goes to the original player.
A member is substituting for a non-member: The sub pays a member block booking fee and a credit goes to the original player.
A non-member is substituting for a member: The sub pays a non-member block booking fees and a credit goes to the original player.
A non-member is substituting for a non-member: The sub pays a non-member block booking fee and a credit goes to the original player.
