Since graduating from Lethbridge College, Nigel Mawji has found his calling in the media world. Nigel had the opportunity to produce radio content for 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘒𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘬, Direct 2019’s 𝘈𝘊𝘈𝘊 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 and receive a grant for his audio work on a local home renovation web series. After hearing the needs of a local business and developing a brand strategy with his team, his team won 𝘓𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘦’𝘴 2019 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦. He has worked as a video editor for MassHook’s 𝘏𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘗𝘢𝘺 and as a production assistant on 𝘞𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪 and the pilot episode of 𝘕𝘰𝘪𝘴𝘦 by Tomcat Visuals. Through an extensive internship, he had hands on experience editing commercial video content with MassHook for events such as 𝘓𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘸 (2019).
Cultivating a deep interest in photography, videography and social media, he has brought his expertise to Aforza. Today, Nigel integrates strategies to growing our club’s online presence, creating engaging video and photo content and establishing new traditions like Sunday Spotlights and Coach Motivationals. When not behind the camera, you can find Nigel giving a friendly hello at our front desk.
